About: I have worked in social care my whole adult life, early on working with adults with chronic mental health problems but mainly supporting vulnerable children and families. The majority of my career has been in York. Like many people, the injustice of homelessness has been a concern of mine and of my family. In July 2018 after moving jobs to Doncaster, I felt a strong call from God to continue to make a contribution in my local community, and the opportunity to join the Restore board arose, so I jumped at it. I love the work of Restore as we don’t just provide homes, but through practical help, social support and Christian love, we also bring hope and help to rebuild lives.
